Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 35, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee against Anderlecht in the Europa League, whilst playing for Manchester United on April 20th, has already had a successful surgery in Pittsburgh, U.S.A last week and is now commencing his rehabilitation to come back even stronger.
Never doubt Zlatan, but what’s even more encouraging is this news, his super agent Mino Raiola told Swedish newspaper Expressen, “Zlatan has started rehabilitation at the hospital. His knee is so strong that the doctors said they had never seen anything like it. He has a knee that it is almost impossible for a football player with a 20-year career to have. It was quite clean… there was no harm in it.”

Zlatan announced last week with this photo, “Fixed, done and stronger. Once again thank you for the support. We will enjoy my game together soon.”
This is amazing news for Manchester United and as we have predicted last week, Zlatan will be back before the end of the year. But, what’s even more amazing is that the surgeons in Pittsburgh were astounded by the condition of Zlatan’s knee and they now want him to come back to their surgery after he calls an end to his playing career, to run tests because they have never seen anyone with such strength, to pull through such an injury unscathed.
This might garner him a new nickname, apart from “God of Manchester” or”The King of Sweden”, with this new nickname that we just coined, the “Bionic man” or “Superhuman Zlatan” for the surgeons now wish to conduct a scientific study to determine how on earth somebody at his age, can have no damage after the cruciate ligament injury and also after playing for more than twenty years. This is a miracle and surely god loves him back, as do we. What a legend, we follow you!
Zlatan has already scored 28 goals in his first season for Manchester United in all competitions, yet turning 36 in October this year, it is nothing but a number to him and since his absence due to the injury, the Red Devils have already been missing his goalscoring nature.
Manchester United have already lifted the EFL Cup Trophy with Zlatan, continuing his majestic trophy laden career at his new club, with yet another final to look forward to, if and when Manchester United kill off Celta Vigo at Old Trafford on May the 11th, to bring them into an expected Final match in the Europa League against Ajax. Unfortunately, Zlatan will not be playing in this match, but we fully expect him to be there and to participate in the collection of medals and any trophies, as a result.

Mino Raiola said, “Zlatan is so strong that the doctor wants him back after his career to research on him. They work in the world’s best research institutions for the knees and ligaments. They research a lot on the subject and that is why they are better than everyone else. And the doctors want back Zlatan to do research on him. So after Zlatan’s career, we will go back and open him up again to do research on his ligaments.”
This is the best news possible for Zlatan fans and for Manchester United, as it signals his road to recovery without any significant damage whatsoever, and this was relayed by Roy Keane for the Daily Mail (proud Manchester United Legend of old) so it will go some way to hopefully fix up a contract extension until his full recovery at the Old Trafford club.
We predict that Zlatan should now be fully recovered by the end of October in 2017, presumably to come back and haunt Premier League defences once again, but with a stronger Manchester United side, hoping to challenge for the Premier League title next season. We say sign him up for another season and then just watch and learn.
Brainstain, over and out!
