The KUWTK 10th Anniversary Photo Shoot

It’s been ten years since Keeping Up with The Kardashians hit our screens on the E! channel, so to celebrate it, The Hollywood Reporter construed a cover and feature shoot with the whole family posing in some casual underwear photos. Nothing really says that you’re a reality TV family like posing in some sleepwear, right?

Since the Kardashian’s invaded our homes and popular culture, they have brought much entertainment and tabloid fodder for a full ten years. Now whether you love or extremely dislike the  show, they’re still a real family, and in laying their private lives bare on television, there is no denying their success overall or effect on popular culture with their long-running E! program.

The Hollywood Reporter is calling it the “Kardashian Decade”, and since 2007, we’ve seen a lot come and go, like the long running Scott Disick and Kourtney saga which ended last year, Kim’s effervescent switching of men on her quest to find Mr. Right (Kanye West), Khloe’s divorce from Lamar Odom and subsequent dating of various basketball players, and less we forget, Kris’ divorce from Bruce Jenner and the subsequent transformation of Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner.

Well, that’s a whole lot of entertainment in the space of ten years, and all of that is just part of their real lives. Plus of course, there’s was that whole thing involving Kylie’s humongous physical transformation and split from artist Tyga, followed by Kendall’s rise to becoming a famous catwalk and photo model.

Kendall has established herself as a very successful model, with a new campaign for Adidas as their spokeswoman and being on the cover of Vogue, just to name a few of her achievements. Plus, with her fathers inherited athletic body (or Kris’?) and her mother’s added likeness, there’s still lots more to come from Kendall in the world of modelling.

Kourtney Kardashian, the ever-relaxed one, has sadly split up with Scott, but it did her good in the long run because now she’s happier than ever before. Plus Scott and Kourtney continue to be very good co-parents of their children too, which is nice. Kourtney has turned into a full blown Puma (short of cougar), with her escapades in reeling in younger men. Let’s see why, shall we?

Nothing says “Here I am” like just chilling on a vintage side table like some sort of feline temptress. Gives a whole new meaning to the word MILF. Now speaking of Puma’s, Kylie has become a model for the German shoe and sport attire brand Puma to add on top of her lip wear line, so in light of that, here’s Kylie with her plump lips for good measure.

Here’s she’s opting for the grown up and conservative look, something which we don’t often see, and no doubt Caitlyn Jenner will be proud of this one.

Next up is “momager” Kris. Interesting side note, did you know that she called out Caitlyn’s claims in her latest book as absurd, including her written claim that it was Bruce’s idea to start the Kardahsian show? Anyway, let’s see Kris’ pose for the sleepy-comfy THR shoot.

It’s clear that the ultimate boss of all things Kardashian knows how to strike a pose. She’s definitely played her part in driving the family to worldwide superstardom, not to mention she’s a bit of genius in PR and Marketing, wouldn’t you say? Well done, Kris.

Last but definitely not least, we have the strong willed Khloe; many people’s favourite Kardashian (aside from Kim) for her no-nonsense straight talking ways. She’s still curious as to find out if O.J. Simpson may or may not be her biological father, but parental troubles aside, it hasn’t broken her stride. What you get with Khloe is a strong pair of shoulders and tons of humour, despite growing up in what some would say are “unconventional circumstances” what with growing up on television and all.

Nothing quite says “winning” like wearing an Ivory silk robe, with a wind machine blowing you around, and just posing it out for all to see. She’s bagged herself quite the man; Tristan Thompson, the NBA player for the Cleveland Cavaliers to be exact, so surely life is good for Khloe at this stage in her life.

So, just how much longer will we have the KUWTK show on TV? Our predictions say that it will still go on for some time yet, and with spin-off shows like Life of Kylie already ongoing, there’s no sign that the Kardashian’s will be slowing down any time soon. As Ren and Stimpy would say, “Oh Joy!”, we have a whole lot more KUWTK to look forward to.

Undoubtedly, the Kardashians are pure entertainment, and they’re always an enjoyable and easy watch, so here’s a sneak peak of their latest season. It’s not hard to see why many people are still hooked on this show or why it’s been setting trends for the last decade.
