Between them both they have racked up over a million Twitter followers, and have received the blue tick of approval by having their accounts officially verified. They have their own Wikipedia pages, and have appeared in countless TV interviews, news reports, have featured in numerous articles, and have even had the honour of appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
So, what’s next for this dynamic duo that have been literally EVERYWHERE after seventeen people including teachers were tragically killed by the school shooter, 19-year-old Cuban-American, Nikolas Jacob Cruz.
It seems you cannot browse Facebook, search Twitter, or even go to use the toilet these days without seeing their perfectly positioned faces. They are literally bona fide celebrities now, even though they often couldn’t remember their lines from their pre-written scripts and heavily relied on ear pieces in numerous broadcasts.
As a result of their newfound fame, Kim and Kayne must be absolutely fuming at the loss of news column inches due to these two indestructible teenagers who just want to do good and take a leaf out of Michael Jackson’s book to make the world a better place. However, much debate still circles around whether stripping people’s guns away, will ever become reality or do any good.
In between tirelessly advocating for tougher gun laws to increase school safety, and promoting such student rallies, their social media celebrity statuses have grown far beyond the Twittersphere and now entering into Kylie Jenner territory, but how long will these 15 minutes of fame really last?
González, the outspoken, shaved head looking bisexual advocate at the helm of the burgeoning pro-gun control youth movement, which erupted after the tragic event at Parkland, Florida, now has more Twitter followers than the National Rifle Association in which she is so adamantly against.
At this rate, González may even outdo Jesus when it comes to gaining blind followers who will follow her every word as if she’s quoting the gospel.
Despite being labelled as “Crisis Actors”, David Hogg has seen his online popularity grow too. He’s even gone as far as to thank those who attacked him online, despite being someone that’s been coached on anti-gun talking points by his retired FBI father and also by fake news network, CNN.
“These people who have been attacking me on social media, they’ve been great advertisers. Ever since they started attacking me, my Twitter followers are now a quarter of a million people. People have continued to cover us in the media. They’ve done a great job of that, and for that, I honestly thank them,” Hogg told CNN in a recent interview.
Though it has been rumoured that the two teen stars are sitting hefty on the CNN pay roll, there’s surely a whole heap of endorsements and reality TV offers that will be coming their way very soon. If they haven’t already, of course.
The perfect place for them to spill the beans of the whole ordeal that they have suffered since appearing non-stop on TV would be a spot-on the prestigious Celebrity Big Brother cast. Well, if Omarosa can be considered as a worthwhile celebrity, even though she only has a measly 133k followers on Twitter compared to G.I. González, then anyone can.
With David Hogg claiming that he will now be playing truant and not be returning to school (what school?) until a new gun control law passes, we guess he will have plenty of time to wait until the necessary changes are made to the Second Amendment. You know, despite the fact he’s said to actually be somewhere around 22-years old and has already been exposed as not being a student already.
Maybe he could pursue a pop career and become the next Justin Bieber? He also does have an uncanny likeness to former ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ star Frankie Muniz, so perhaps a TV sitcom is in order?
Meanwhile, Emma González sports a striking resemblance to ‘Nothing Compares 2U’ one hit wonder (and mentally unstable nut job) Sinéad O’Connor. So, maybe she should just shred a photo of Donald Trump live on air and be hailed as some sort of feminist second coming? Lesbians will love it!
“FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY” she roars, whilst her fellow pink haired pussy marchers’ menopause in unity.
The Day
With YouTube removing videos of the pair rehearsing their lines and contradicting their accounts, it seems Hogg and González really are an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, backed by the leftist agenda of Google.
The title of this article may be a tongue in cheek look at the celebrity idolisation of these two vocal farcical advocates, but the biased narrative that is being created is very much real.
Criticise this courageous and valiant duo, and you are aggressively labelled a “Nazi”, part of the “Far Right”, and the usual derogatory terms used by the left to silence free speech and views that do not fit their narrative.
Post photos of these two heroic and mourning survivors laughing and posing for selfies with CNN production members in between emotional and heartfelt sit-down interviews, then be prepared to be banished to the unseen regions of Facebook jail and the infamy of Twitter suspension.
Toronto Star
Acknowledge the fact that it has since been revealed that David Hogg’s father, Kevin Hogg, also worked for a Defence Contractor that specializes in performing these Crisis Operation Simulations, and you’ll be labelled as just another online Illuminati conspiracy theorist.
Point the finger of blame to the FBI who had prior knowledge of the Nikolas Cruz as well as at the Broward County Sheriff, Scott Israel, who missed clear warning signs about the shooter and who’s deputies failed to act at the scene, and you’ll just be heckled out of the building.
While the star shines brightly on David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez, other students who don’t share the same anti-gun rhetoric and anti-conservative ideology as their enshrined classmates are not reaping the same celebrity status.
Parkland, Florida student, Colton Haab, went on national TV to say that he pulled out of a CNN town hall debate on gun control because producers re-worded and wrote out his question for him and was told to “Stick to the script” by CNN production staff.
CNN says “trust the kids” when it comes David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez, yet Colton Haab is a kid that we should by all means, not trust, they say. Another real student, Kyle Kashuv, who appeared on FOX’s Leland Vittert Show and called out Sheriff Scott Israel to resign from Broward County, is also not being given the same exposure, as with a major Twitter followers surge and appearances on Ellen, either.
Twitter have even since suspended Colton Haab from their site. We guess the blue light of a verified tick only shines bright on those that just “Stick to the script”, which when you really think about it, is the essence of the modern-day notion of us living in George Orwell’s ‘1984’ novel, under the watchful eyes of a very real Big Brother, and not impending Celebrity Big Brother fame.
We sure do hope that David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez start to unfollow the script when their 15 minutes of fame have come to an abrupt end, and they are left with the reality that they have traded the existence of 17 innocent lives for the thrill of a CNN camera lens.
